Lorna Fowler – Presenter
Lorna grew up in a house committed to sport and in particular horseracing as her mother is a trainer and brother a national hunt jockey. Her initial passion led her to riding where she was a successful amateur jockey for over eight years.
Having graduated from Glasgow University in 2001 she began working for the Racing Channel as a presenter and reporter, covering both domestic and international racing. With a natural flair for capturing the moment Lorna moved to Newmarket, the home of racing, and became MC at both Newmarket racecourses. Her presentations and interviews have become synonymous with the racecourses where she has become known as ‘the voice of Newmarket’.
Lorna has covered some of racing’s biggest events from around the world including the Grand National meeting at Aintree (Aintree TV) the Cheltenham Festival (Cheltenham & Timeform Radio), World Equestrian Games in Aachen (Radio 5 Live), International Jockeys meeting in South Africa (Teletrack) and Royal Ascot (Timeform Radio). Additionally, she is a regular presenter for Racing UK where she conducts interviews and fronts features.
